Are you looking to get a hunting or fishing license in Central Colorado? Obtaining a valid license is essential for accessing the area's natural resources. Fortunately, the process is relatively straightforward and can be done through authorized CPW sales agents, by phone, or online. If you're looking to get your license quickly and conveniently, you can purchase it online or by phone. All you have to do is call 1-800-244-561 and you should receive your license in the mail within 10 days.
Alternatively, you can pick up your license at a sales agency or at the park or Colorado Parks and Wildlife office. If you have the MyColorado app, you can also upload your Hunter Education Card directly to the app. To do this, tap Colorado Parks and Wildlife Licenses in the Wallet app, and then tap Hunter Education Card. On the next screen, click the Upload Hunter Education Card button and take a photo, upload a photo or upload a PDF of your current card.
From there, all you have to do is give the card a name and press Submit to upload it. If you prefer to obtain your license in person, there are many licensing agents around the state that can help. Colorado residents who have lived in the state for at least 6 months can present a valid Colorado driver's license or other verifiable identification to purchase their license. Once your purchase is complete, go to the MyColorado app and follow the instructions to show your CPW digital license from anywhere in Colorado. In MyColorado, click Shop Colorado Parks & Wildlife on the Services tab and navigate to the appropriate pages to purchase your CPW license. If the license OR all the licenses you purchase in this transaction expire in less than 15 days, you will NOT receive anything in the mail.
